Dear Families & Friends of Fatima,
There are several things to remind you of for this week.
Tomorrow is the last day to sign up on the APIAL website for junior basketball, grades 1-2, and 3-4.
Tuesday is the end of the 3rd quarter. Report cards will go home on Friday.
Tuesday, is the School Consultative Council meeting in Rm. 1 FGH at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome.
Friday is the last day for students to sign up for the talent show which is scheduled for April. There are forms in the slots by the office. The talent show will be held on Thursday, April 20th at 1 p.m.
Friday is the last day to register for Run for the Zoo.
A Note from Mrs. Thanh Maldonado:
It’s time for Run for the Zoo again! Run for the Zoo will be on Sunday May 7th this year. I will be accepting registrations after school through Friday March 17th. Families can also pickup/drop off registration forms in the office if it is convenient for them. Please consider registering your student even if you cannot attend the run: it will help our numbers, count towards the class participation competition (winning class gets a pizza and ice cream party) and they will get to participate in the Run for the Zoo Spirit day.
You can also register online! Please follow the instructions below to use our school code:
Friday, March 17th is St. Patrick’s Day. Students are encouraged to wear jeans if they like, and a green shirt. They are asked to bring a dollar which will be put into the Rice Bowl collection.
On Saturday, March 18th four of our MathCounts students will be competing in the state competition. Congratulations to them and Mr. Dillard, and good luck!
The very most important reminder is that next Friday, March 17th is the last day to register for next school year before there is an additional $50 added to the registration fee. Please don’t wait if you plan to preregister, and of course we hope that you all will.
Counting down until a much anticipated spring break, and yet still so much to do this week! Thank you all for the privilege of teaching your children.
