The study of language arts is challenging, enriching and enabling.
In the middle school program we develop our listening, reading, speaking and writing skills individually and as a group. Our purpose is to increase our capacity to acquire information and knowledge, analyze and synthesize, draw conclusions and communicate clearly what we have learned.
The curriculum in grades 6 through 8 is designed to meet or exceed archdiocesan standards for reading and literature, grammar and writing, vocabulary and spelling, speaking and listening, research and study skills. The contribution of every student to the collaborative process is validated in a supportive learning environment that encourages initiative and innovation.
