During our 1st Friday staff meetings, one of the things we do is review our calendar. This most recent review took us through the end of the school year...which is coming sooner than I can believe! I'll mention the events for this week and a few to keep in mind for the near future.
We have rolled out our new lunch menu from Limonada and the reviews so far are good; in particular, rave reviews for the cherry jello. You can order on Sycamore as usual for the same price. We will still have pizza on Wednesdays.
Wednesday after Mass Fr. Steve and Fr. John will hear confessions for grades 3-8.
In the afternoon at about 10 minutes until 2, grades 2-8 will walk a half block east of school to observe an Aikido demonstration. Parents are welcome to join us.
Friday we will have a representative from the Veterans Integration Center pick up our donations of personal items and snacks. Thank you for your generous support. This fulfills the commitment we made to the V.I.C. back in November during our salute to Veterans.
A "Save the date" notice, as well as a note that we have changed the original date for our Father/daughter dance. It will be on Friday, May 4th. More details will follow later.
We are planning a security "lock down" drill after spring break. You will be notified when it will happen. We will have a representative from APD to give us recommendations before and afterwards.
Thank you for the privilege of teaching your children.
Have a blessed Sunday afternoon and week.
