Dear Families & Friends of Fatima,
One more Catholic Schools Week is behind us, and what a week it was! It culminated on Friday with a kind of “free for all” blue & gold day–t-shirts, jeans, hair, and painted faces. We had a rollicking good time in the gym for about ninety minutes playing various “minute-to-win it” activities–hula hoops, jump ropes, wheel barrow races on dollies, musical chairs, cheers and an original Fatima fight song written by our very own musician, Ms. Patti Wilson.
Thanks to those of you who contributed to the National Day of Giving to Catholic Schools. It was a new thing the National Catholic Education Association sponsored, and it was a bit “last minute”, but you were generous, and the funds will stay here at Fatima.
Several families registered on Saturday, and we thank you. Registration is open and you have until Friday, March 2nd to pay the $250 registration fee. After that date the fee will be $300.
Our attendance numbers are starting to improve; hopefully the biggest wave of viruses and flu has moved out. We do understand because our faculty has also been hit, including me 2 weeks ago.
This week looks to be pretty quiet with only Progress Reports to anticipate.
I am enclosing an message from the Asst. Supt. about a STEM Saturday.
Have a blessed week, and thank you for the privilege of working with your children.
